WHEW! We survived day 1 of our road trip. We left Vero about 9 AM and didn't make our first stop until Gainesville. We grabbed some lunch and got back on the road. We only had to make 2 more stops - one for bathroom and one for gas - and we were in Atlanta. The kids were SO excited to get out of the van. Christopher shouted, "We have been in the car for hours and hours and it has FINALLY paid off! We are at Elisi's house!"

Overall the kids did GREAT! We piled the van FULL of snacks and the kids were in snack heaven. They ate about a million snacks before 10 AM. LOL! Here are some pics from day 1.
